Conservatories: How to choose the correct size
Getting the size of your conservatory right is first key decision to be made and it can get confusing. Remember most companies quote and work with external sizes so you need to reduce the width across the house by 2ft or 600mm and the depth into the garden by 1ft or 300mm to get the real room size. So when you are planning your conservatory remember to always work in external dimensions. So then what size should you choose? I recommend visiting showrooms which have the conservatories furnished in a natural setting,When you are sitting in a conservatory or Sunroom you instinctively know whether is big enough, too big etc. If the size you like does not suit the measurements on your home then ask the sales consultant to rearrange the furniture to reflect the size you can build. Remember it is almost impossible to visualise 3650mm by 4100mm so if that’s the size that fits your home then go and see one that size furnished. At Conservatory Designs we have six fully furnished show conservatories of all sizes allowing you to see exactly what you are buying before ordering or work commences.
