Conservatory designs are offering a new range of free standing conservatories. These conservatories are built to the same standard and quality as those attached to the house and offer a great alternative to those who want to enjoy the garden without all the other work required when attaching to the house wall. We will be soon be building a free standing conservatory at our display centre and are also currently build two other units at customers homes in Dublin and Kildare.

These conservatories cost less to build as there is not as much site work required and they can be sited to avoid pipes underground which otherwise would have to be moved. Great care must be taken when designing a conservatory to the front of a property. Not only will the Conservatory or Sunroom have to complement the property in design and materials but it must also satisfy the planning dept of your local council.

This Conservatory in Dublin was built to allow the morning sun into the house. We went to great lengths to get matching brick and also recreated the white mortar pointing that was on the original house. The house has been transformed with natural sunlight flooding into the living space in the mornings, nice for breakfast time. When the sun moves to the back of the house in the afternoon the rear windows allow the light in. The result is a living space which has natural light all day long. As with all conservatories or sunrooms to the front of a property we look after all aspects of the planning process, the form filling, maps etc so you don’t have to worry about it.
